Welcome new BHEA members!
If you would like to be on BHEA's yahoogroups, you can subscribe
by sending an email to
BHEA-subscribe@yahoogroups.com.
You will be approved quickly. This is a great place to post curriculum
questions, ask for directions
to events, find out recommendations for reputable physicians and
plumbers, etc. We call our yahoogroups "the chatty list." Please
join in! (The BHEA E-ALERT system is NOT the same as the yahoogroups
list.)
For more information about BHEA, please click BHEA Brochure
to print a copy of our brochure or see many more of the services that
we offer in support of our membership listed below:
Membership
Services
BHEA Member's Handbook

The
BHEA Member's Handbook is provided to all BHEA members. This handbook will
help you get the most from your BHEA membership. It is a good reference
for information on all the programs, services, and activities that BHEA
provides. It also contains BHEA's Organizational Guidelines, behavior and
dress policies, and enrichment class policies.
BHEA Member Directory
A directory of BHEA members
is made available to every member. It consists of the names, telephone
numbers, and other information about all BHEA members. The directory and
all the information it contains is confidential and for the use of BHEA
members only. Directory information must never be given out to anyone
who is not a BHEA member under any circumstances. Anyone wishing to have
their telephone number or children's names excluded from the directory
should indicate this on their BHEA registration form.
BHEA
Yahoogroup - "The Loop"
BHEA's
Yahoogroup provides personalized online support for our members, by our
members. The Loop is a great way for our parents to conveniently help,
encourage and mentor one another, as followers of Christ are called to
do. The benefits of this group are limitless. You can share homeschool
ideas, teaching techniques, special interests, and so much more. The
group is restricted to BHEA members only.
Therefore you would only send and receive e-mails from BHEA members. New
members with e-mail addresses are automatically added to the BHEA Loop.
If, for some reason you do not want to participate, directions for un-subscribing
will be on the e-mail that you receive. After you have registered you
will receive an e-mail that welcomes you to the BHEA Loop. After that
you are ready to start sending and replying to messages. When you reply
to someone's message, your response automatically goes to all the other
members. This is a terrific way to get to know everyone in BHEA.
BHEA
Email Alerts
BHEA
also offers an e-mail network for
urgent information
that needs to be sent to the entire group. Urgent
information you would like to be sent directly to all BHEA members
(i.e. urgent prayer requests or field trip changes) should be
sent to ealert@bhea.net.
Any information pertinent to homeschooling from the federal and state
level will automatically be e-mailed to you via the communications director.
If you do not have e-mail it will be your responsibility to find another
BHEA member with e-mail who will pass the information on to you when
they
receive it. All group information will be passed along either by e-mail
or through the newsletter. There will be no phone chain.
