Enrichment Program

Q:

Where is the sublist?

A:

The FWC Sublist is updated as needed and available at www.bhea.net/sublist (you must be logged in to view)  It is also emailed to you every week.
Do not post in any of our Facebooks looking for a sub.  The sublist will guide you to the folks who have availability when you need them!

Q:

Who do I contact if I have a question about BHEA?

A:

It depends on your question! BHEA is made up of a team of coordinators and volunteers who handle different aspects of our organization.

  • For questions specifically related to Monday Enrichment sessions (such as class schedules, room assignments, instructors, enrichment registration, etc.), contact the Enrichment Team at [email protected].

  • For all other BHEA matters (such as membership, field trips, clubs, special events, transcripts, scholarships, service hours, the handbook, or anything not related to attending Monday Enrichment), please reach out to the appropriate coordinator listed on our Contact Us page.

The Enrichment Team is responsible only for managing the Monday Enrichment Program. While they are a vital part of BHEA, they do not oversee the entire organization. Redirecting your question to the correct contact ensures you get the most accurate and timely help.

Need help figuring out who to contact? Feel free to email [email protected] and we’ll point you in the right direction!

Enrichment Sign-Ups are opened in tiers based on age groups. This system helps manage site traffic and ensures a smoother registration experience.

Each family will receive the full schedule of registration times by age group, so they can log in and register at the appropriate time based on the ages of their children.

  2. Log in to your BHEA account at www.bhea.net

  4. Select the upcoming semester

  5. View the class schedule while logged in

  6. At 9:00 AM, sign-ups for Family Work Commitments open

  7. Register your children for classes

  8. Instructor fees are listed under each class description you will pay those by their due date after Sign-Ups.

Missed the Deadline?

If you miss the initial registration deadline, you will still have an opportunity to register during the next available sign-up window, after the first wave of registrations is complete. However, please note that class availability may be limited at that time.

Q:

Can I drop my kids off or must a parent stay?

A:

Parents must stay for ages 15 and under  Children aged 16 years or older do not require a parent/guardian on site at all times.  As long as the adult FWC is fulfilled each week, students are free to come and go as arranged with their parents.

Q:

What is the difference between BHEA's Family Membership fee and the Family Enrichment Program Registration fee?

A:

Family Membership Fee:
The BHEA Family Membership fee is $50 per family (not per person) and covers your membership for the entire academic year—from June 1, 2025, through May 31, 2026. This membership gives you access to BHEA’s full range of offerings, including field trips, events, clubs, and classes (including the option to participate in Enrichment). To keep this cost affordable for all families, we do not prorate the membership fee regardless of when you join during the year, and it is non-refundable.

Family Enrichment Program Registration Fee:
The Family Enrichment Program Registration fee is $60 per family per academic year and covers facility use, classroom supplies, and other expenses related specifically to running our Monday Enrichment sessions. This fee only applies to members who choose to participate in Enrichment. Whether your family attends one or both semesters, the fee remains the same. This fee is refundable up to the second day of sessions, but like the membership fee, it is not prorated based on participation length or start date.

Q:

Do I need to pay the $60 Enrichment Program Registration fee for each child?

A:

No, you don’t! Both the $50 BHEA Membership fee and the $60 Enrichment Program Registration fee are per family, not per child. This means you pay each fee once per academic year—no matter how many children you enroll in BHEA or participate in the Enrichment Program. This structure helps keep BHEA accessible and affordable for homeschooling families of all sizes.

Q:

Are there any other fees involved with participating in the Enrichment Program?

A:

Yes. In addition to the $60 per-family Enrichment Program Registration fee, you will also pay each instructor directly for every session your child is enrolled in.

Each instructor sets their own session fee and may include additional costs such as curriculum, books, supplies, or field trip expenses. These details—including pricing and required materials—are listed in the session descriptions. Be sure to click on the name of each session during registration to view all information before enrolling.

Q:

How do I pay?

A:

  • To pay the $50 Family Membership Fee, use the PayPal button located on the Membership Request or Membership Renewal page. You do not need a PayPal account—you can check out as a guest using a credit or debit card.

  • To pay the $60 Family Enrichment Program Registration Fee, you will be prompted at the end of the Enrichment Program Registration Form. As with membership, you can pay through PayPal or as a guest using a credit or debit card.

  • Payment for individual Enrichment sessions is made directly to the instructors. Each instructor will provide specific payment instructions, which may include payment via cash, check, PayPal, Venmo, or another method. All details are provided in the session descriptions—be sure to review each one carefully before registering.

Q:

What if my child has food allergies?

A:

If your child has food allergies, it’s essential to communicate directly with their instructors about any potential risks related to the session.

Our Enrichment Program meets in a facility that hosts many other activities throughout the week. Because of this, we cannot guarantee an allergen-free environment, and there may be residue or traces of allergens from other groups using the space.

To help us better support your child:

  • Be sure to list all allergies clearly in your child’s profile. This information will appear on the instructor’s class roster.

  • Follow up with instructors directly to ensure they are aware and can take precautions as needed.

While BHEA takes food allergies seriously, families are ultimately responsible for their child’s safety. Please don’t hesitate to reach out to instructors or the Enrichment team if you have concerns. We want every student to feel safe and have a positive experience at Enrichment.

Q:

Is the host facility handicap accessible?

A:

Most areas of our current facility are handicap accessible, including entrances, restrooms, and many classrooms.

If your student or a family member has accessibility needs, please let the Enrichment Team know as early as possible by emailing [email protected]. We are happy to adjust room assignments or make additional accommodations when notified in advance.

BHEA is committed to creating an inclusive and welcoming environment for all families. If you have questions or need further assistance, please don’t hesitate to reach out—we’re here to help.
