BHEA is a vibrant community.

Our Mission: Blount Home Education Association (BHEA) is a community rooted in Christian values, comprised of independent homeschooling families, and dedicated to promoting and encouraging home education in Blount County. It is essential to the success of this organization that each member understands that BHEA operates as a Christ-centered cooperative effort, relying on the contributions and support of each member.

What We Offer:

  • Enrichment Program: Optional programs for all grades (Pre-K to 12) designed to complement your home education.
  • Clubs and Field Trips: A variety of clubs and exciting field trips to enhance learning experiences.
  • High School Awards and Honors: Recognizing and celebrating the achievements of our high school students.
  • Social Events: A wide array of social events for all ages to build lasting friendships and community connections.

Affordable Membership Fees: Our membership fees are just $30 per family per year, from June 1, 2024, to May 31, 2025. The price is for the current academic year and is fixed no matter when you join until the end of the academic year which is May 31st.
