Marcy Conway To All Instructors
I’ve been an educator for over 25 years and have had the pleasure of teaching students from the elementary levels to the college-level and adults. I obtained a double-degree in Early Ed and Education from Marshall University, M.Ed. from Carson-Newman University in Curriculum and Instruction, as well as my Doctorate from Capella University.
Currently, I am a professor in the English Dept. and teach Reading courses as well as College Success courses. In addition to teaching classes for PSCC and BHEA, I offer online courses for high school credit (Finance, English, and more).
I am also a published author, content creator for social media outlets, an actress, and a national speaker. Mostly, I am a proud Mom of 2 boys who have been homeschooled (and members of BHEA) from Kindergarten all the way through their Senior Year!
We are an active family being involved in our church and enjoying many activities outdoors including biking, hiking the Great Smoky Mountains, and gardening. As an herbalist, I enjoy teaching classes to the community at several venues like Knoxville’s historical homes and at colleges. I am passionate about teaching!
